All applications older than one (1) year will be destroyed and considered invalid. Anyone wishing to be considered for an open position must have a current application and questionnaire on file.
The Bristol Police Department will not consider any applicant who submits an incomplete application. All information on the application and the accompanying 28 page Questionnaire must be fully answered and/or fully explained. If a question does not pertain to your specific situation, place “N/A” (not applicable) on the answer line. For example: “Please list military service dates, location, and duties”. If you did not serve in the military, an acceptable answer would be “N/A”. Do not use “N/A” to avoid answering questions.
